Senior Domestic Competition
MRBA coordinates both junior and senior domestic competitions that are played weekly at Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct (New Gisborne), Willowbank Primary School, Gisborne Secondary Collage and occasionally at other locations within the Macedon Ranges.
These competitions are a great way to enjoy the social aspect of basketball within a safe, inclusive, and structured environment.
No tryouts are required to play.

The MRBA Junior Domestic Competition is back for Summer 2026/27 — and we're making some exciting changes.
We're introducing a new reversible MRBA playing uniform, changing the way families register for Summer, and getting ready for what we expect to be our biggest Junior Domestic season yet.
Whether you're a returning player or new to MRBA, everyone is welcome. No tryouts required.

SUMMER REGISTRATION
Register early. Secure your place.
We're expecting record registrations for the Summer Junior Domestic Competition.
With court space remaining a challenge for Term 4, some divisions may need to be capped if demand exceeds available court capacity.
To give our existing players the best opportunity to return, we're introducing tiered access to registration for Summer 2026/27.
PRIORITY EARLY BIRD
7-23 August
$230 + $39 (uniform cost)
For current Winter domestic players
Register during the Priority Early Bird period and guarantee your place in the Summer competition.
This is the best opportunity for current MRBA Winter players to secure their spot.
GENERAL REGISTRATION
24 - 31 August
$230 + $39 (uniform cost)
Players who did not participate in Winter Domestic can register from 24 August.
Places are not guaranteed during this period.
Where divisions reach capacity, MRBA will prioritise returning players from Summer 2025/26 and Winter 2026 before new players.

Introducing our new reversible playing uniform
This Summer, we're giving Junior Domestic basketball a new look.
Our new reversible MRBA singlet gives every player two playing colours in one uniform — helping eliminate the colour clashes we've experienced in previous seasons.
MRBA is subsidising the cost of the new uniform for Summer 2026/27 only, giving families a special introductory price of:
