PLAYER AND COACHING DEVELOPMENT:
Contribute to ongoing player and coaching development programs. This may include funding specialised training sessions, coaching clinics, or bringing in guest coaches to enhance the skills and knowledge of players and coaches within the association.
REFEREE DEVELOPMENT:
Provide competitive rates and ongoing development opportunities for referees. This can help attract and retain referees, ensuring high-quality officiating during games and promoting fair play.

Current Programs
There are over 1,000 junior basketballers playing in the Macedon Ranges.
The MRBA actively fosters participation, development, and representative opportunities for young athletes across multiple programs, including:
Development:
Specialised training sessions focused on fundamental skills and tactics.
• Aussie Hoops — 6 to 8 year olds
Domestic:
Aimed at encouraging young basketballers to have fun and develop their skills through regular training and friendly matches within their age groups.
• U10 – U18 Junior Domestic Competition
• Open Age Senior Domestic Competition
Representative:
Opportunities for players to showcase their abilities and compete against athletes across the state, with the potential to progress further in their basketball journey, through Basketball Victoria's Country Pathways.
