Our Challenges:

1. The MRBA is a volunteer-based association with no paid personnel across the committee, program administration and team management functions. We have however been able to fund a part-time Director of Coaching which will greatly benefit our athletes and coaches.

2. To qualify for the upcoming Victorian Country Basketball Championships, the MRBA must run a junior domestic competition in all age groups which is challenging with limited administration resources and court space. 

3. Basketball is an expensive sport with uniforms, a year-round commitment and additional costs associated with representative selection.

 

In order to mitigate some of these challenges, we are seeking the support of regional businesses to get on board with one of our Basketball Partnership Packages.
