Macedon Ranges Rockies was established by MRBA to give representative-level opportunities to players from the MRBA Domestic competition. Players do not leave their Domestic teams, Representative Competition is an additional opportunity for players to develop their skills, court performance and physical fitness.
We proudly provide a continuous representative pathway at Macedon Ranges Rockies from U12 through to Country Basketball League competition.
Rockies Rep Ready program is designed to prepare our U12 players for Representative Tryouts by exposing them to our offensive and defensive concepts, standards and expectations.
The aim is to rapidly improve each athlete’s skill set to be able to impact game play at the VJBL level.
The 2026 Rep Ready program will be led by our current boys and girls U12 head coaches, Luke Raby and Kevin Squires.
Targeted at current Rockies bottom age U12 athletes, and new players preparing to try out for VJBL in 2026.

Country Basketball League (CBL)

Macedon Ranges senior players compete in the North-West Conference playing against other Representative teams with the ultimate goal of being named a CBL Conference Champion.

The season opens in October with conference finals for the North-West conference occurring in December.
