Representative Competition
Macedon Ranges Rockies
Macedon Ranges Rockies was established by MRBA to give representative-level opportunities to players predominantly from the MRBA Domestic competition. Players do not leave their Domestic teams, Representative Competition is an additional opportunity for players to develop their skills, court performance and physical fitness.
We proudly provide a continuous representative pathway at Macedon Ranges Rockies from U12 through to Senior Big V basketball competition.
Junior (VJBL)

Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) is state-wide Representative Basketball that provides the highest level of junior competition in Victoria. The competition includes U12 to U20 age groups, in a graded structure from Victorian Junior Championship League to regional competition.

2023 saw our first teams enter into the VJBL.

2024/25 season has seen continued growth with additional representative teams approved to compete in the Friday-night league against teams across Victoria.

Country Championship (tournaments)

The Junior Country Championships are conducted yearly for the U12, U14, U16 and U18 age groups. Regional affiliated associations and Country Victorian athletes are able to register for tournament events that are held over multiple days in a round-robin and knock-out setting.

Under 16 & Under 18 Division 1 & 2: TBA February – Bendigo
Under 16 & Under 18 Division 3, 4 & 5: TBA March – Traralgon
Under 14: TBA April – Ballarat
Under 12: TBA April – Bendigo

Country Basketball League (CBL)

Macedon Ranges senior players compete in the North-West Conference playing against other Representative teams with the ultimate goal of being named a CBL Conference Champion.

The season opens in October with conference finals for the North-West conference occurring in December.
